AppBrain: Application Review

Here is one application which seriously eliminates the shortcomings of android market. I believe that at some stage either Google should fold in this functionality in their market or just acquire these guys. It really eliminates most of the hassles of the market today.
Every time you upgrade software on your phone, you end up having to reinstall all the apps on your phone because the phone does not remember what softwares were installed on it. This application provides that functionality.
Give the application a try, use the QR code attached with this post. One can use their web portal (http://www.appbrain.com) to search and install applications and these are automatically pushed to the mobile phone and installed. In summary, I have found this application to be of great use.

  1. Hi,

I bought a Motorola Milestone and I have a Vodafone connection. I am able to set up internet and browse using EDGE, but I am completely unable to set up my google account or use the Android Market on my Milestone. Whenever I try, it says,

"Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server. This could be a temporary problem or your phone may not be provisioned for data services."

Any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  4. Hello,

Mobile apps have brought the world to your fingertips and promise a revolution in communication. Nokia's Ovi Store, Android Market, Blackberry App World, Apple's App Store and upcoming versions from Samsung and Microsoft give thousands of independent developers a relatively quick and easy route to consumers fingertips. With the current explosion of new applications, it is expected that the market for mobile applications will be "as big as the internet", peaking at 10 million apps in 2020.
